Prodigious childs!
As we know, eventualy born prodigious children and in the world of music is not diferent.
However I believe any people that have health to it can develop any talent. Some artists says a person have to begin very early to study to be a great musician, but I desagree. This way is good but not the only one. There are a lot of people that had developed high habilities by themselves, by their own interest and energy. There are painters that only paint when they have an inspiration. But many others paint a lot, every day, and their better works happens like a consequence of this persistence and other influences.
In the case of Yo Yo Ma, he has a gift, like Mozart had. As a child, he talent was discovered and grew with his dedication. Another good fact in this case is that he loves to use his gift. You can see how happy he is and the efect that his presentation causes on the other musicians and on the public. This love don't depends on a high hability or on a gift. This is only a love about what he does.
And this is a very special thing that does people's life happier, even for a moment.

ResponderExcluirWell, macchow, I guess there's not enough evidence to support this statement of yours.
Undoubtedly some talents are biologically inherited... A fox can cluck as a chicken, but a real chicken would know the difference very quickly!
